How To Activate Windows Vista

Things you Need:

1.Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate DVD

2.OEM BIOS Emulation Toolkit For Windows Vista x86

if u are upgrading our old windows then go to no.3

1.Insert Vista Dvd and Install it as usual by booting with vista dvd.

2.Reboot your machine.

3.setup will start and you will asked for product key. leave it blank and click 'Next'

again you will asked for confirmation of your action. select 'No'.

4.choose windows vista edition of your choice (ULTIMATE EDITION IS BEST) as your package and click on " I have selected the edition of Windows that i have purchased" and click 'Next' then click on "i accept" then click on 'Next'

5.You will be asked for mode of installation i.e.

if you upgrading your existing windows select 'upgrade'
if you are installing a fresh copy of Windows then click on 'custom'


6.unzip OEM BIOS tool somewhere with winrar and right click on Royal.inf select 'Install'

When prompted about whether to install an unsigned driver, allow it.
(For some odd reason Microsoft didn't wanna sign this one...;))

7.Reboot your machine.

8.operations described below require elevated privileges. click on start button and write "cmd" on StartSearch. after search completion right click on cmd.exe
and select "Run as Administrator"

9. Install the OEM certificate matching your OEM selection during driver installation by running

SLMGR.VBS -ilc .XRM-MS

(e.g. "SLMGR.VBS -ilc C:\ASUS.XRM-MS" if you chose to install the default driver and extracted
the certificate file to C:\)


10.Install OEM product key the installed edition of Windows Vista x86 by running

SLMGR.VBS -ipk

(e.g. "SLMGR.VBS -ipk 6F2D7-2PCG6-YQQTB-FWK9V-932CC" if you're running Windows Vista Ultimate using
the default emulation driver)

Note: that this operation might take quite a while depending on your system, so be patient.

11.Run 'SLMGR.VBS -dlv' or right-click 'Computer' and chose 'Properties' to verify your licensing status.
